An uncluttered style, all in curves and lines with a slight touch of 70’s. She seeks for each bag diversity and uniqueness, creating every time a sole alchimy of leather and lining, with unexpected graphical and colourfull African wax, or Toile de Jouy.
Every piece comes with removable shoulder straps for the practical and stylish women of today. A bags’ range coveted by those who love quality, originality and  modernity,
MAI BAEG works with local factories in the « Maine et Loire » to make limited editions all MADE IN FRANCE. By promoting partnerships with local artisans,  we ensures that traditional skills are sustained and maintained.


At the origin of MAI BAEG : Nathalie CHARRAUDEAU :
Native from France, Nathalie studied at the « BEAUX ARTS » in POITIERS. After graduating in English, she studied « Taylorism » at LONDON COLLEGE OF FASHION. She then worked for  WHISTLES, and as a Costume Designer for the Advertising and Music industry.
Six years later, she left LONDON for PARIS where she worked for the Cinema.
Nathalie worked on a free-lance basis for few companies, and started to design Ladies Bags in 1996 for AUTHENTIQUE SUD..She travelled regularly to Madagascar and signed for them collections of bags in woven and embroided raphia which had an international succes. She also worked in Bali, Maroco and India.
Nathalie settled in NANTES where she created her brand of leather bags « MAI BAEG  » in 2006. She hopened a shop in the historical center of the old town.
Member of the prestigious Ateliers d’Arts de France, she creates and craftes the samples herself, using mainly calfskin leather.
